Dr. Lee is board certified in Dermatopathology as well as in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology, and is currently the Senior Staff Dermatopathologist at the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.  Dr. Lee completed his residency training at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Dermatopathology Fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine, and Research Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.  Dr. Lee is an expert consultant for melanoma, pigmented lesions, non-melanoma skin tumors, and cutaneous inflammatory diseases of the skin.  Dr. Lee has co-authored numerous clinical and research articles concerning skin pathology and published in prestigious journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Investigative Dermatology, The Journal of Clinical Investigation, Archives of Dermatology, Journal of American Academy of Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, Genome Research, Cancer, Carcinogenesis, Cancer letter, and Cancer Research.  Dr. Lee currently serves on the editorial board of the scientific journal Cancers, and is the guest editor of a special issue of Cancers entitled "Current concepts in the diagnosis and treatment of cutanesou melanoma".  In 2009, Dr. Lee was invited to speak at the 10^th Banff Conference on Allograft Pathology.  Dr. Lee is licensed to practice medicine in the States of Arizona, California, Florida, Maryland, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia and is a member of American Society of Dermatopathology, International Society of Dermatopathology, and United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
